We caught up with Alice Grimes, our Associate Director on the behind scenes of BoxNine7, her favourite projects and how she has been keeping team morale up now that certain lockdown rules have been lifted…

Meet Alice, BoxNine7's amazing Associate Director. Alice’s extensive skill set has seen her excel in various roles within the company, from designer, to sales, and now Associate Director.

We managed to catch up with Alice about the services BoxNine7 offer plus a recent success story which is too good not to share!

 

What does a day in the life of an Associate Director here at BoxNine7 look like?

“Since lockdown, I have settled into the new norm of working from home nicely, enjoying the work-life balance by starting my morning with a coffee and garden workout courtesy of the AGC HIIT sessions before checking in with the team. My role is to support the team to continue the growth of BoxNine7, whilst maintaining client relationships.

With my main focus being on business development, my day is spent checking in with agents and developers to find new exciting projects for the team to collaborate on. We recently worked with Savills Interiors on providing furniture for the Nightingale Hospital, you can read more about here.

How have you been keeping team morale up since COVID-19?

“I am lucky enough to have a very social team who need no encouragement for fun or positivity! Over lockdown, we arranged a lot of fun activities for the team, from Zoom drinks, quizzes, cocktail making With JJ from the London Cocktail Club, and even a live DJ set on our Instagram.

Now that we can all socialise a bit more with shops and restaurants back up and running, we have had pizza and catch ups in the park.”

“BoxNine7 started back in 2012 with our Curated Furniture Packages providing landlords, developers, and investors with a design-led, turnkey furnishing solution. Now, 8 years later we have expanded not only as a team but with the service we offer!

Our highly requested Home Staging service offers property styling tailored specifically to your target demographic, market and location. Maximising return by minimising void periods or a quick sale for the best price.

Did you know that BoxNine7 also offer an Interior Design Consultancy service? We work with a number of developers, agents and private clients to help create tailored personalised schemes for show homes and new homes for private clients. When designing a scheme, we explore every aspect of the imagined tenant’s lifestyle through putting ourselves in their shoes, allows us to tailor our designs to each development, client and location. You’ll often find our team out and about exploring the development area… including the local cocktail club! We love working with our amazing clients and seeing the schemes come to life.”

 

What have been some of your favourite BoxNine7 projects?

 

Can you share a recent BoxNine7 success story?

 

“One of my favourite and most recent interior design projects was with CBRE Boutique Residential at Chapter House, you can find out more about this project and the surrounding area in a previous blog post. We received great feedback from the developer and CBRE team. We put customer experience and satisfaction as a top priority for delivering a service exceeding all expectations, so receiving great feedback reaffirms the hard work we put in every day.”
