With rising demand from investors to optimise rental value while maximising desirability, we stepped in to provide our hassle-free, tailored turnkey furnishing solution with contemporary and desirable schemes curated by our expert Design and Buying teams.
Exclusive to Greenwich Peninsula, we’ve designed a number of Furniture Collections, merging 2019’s interior design trends with functionality, adapting to the property market’s new approach to urban city living. These Furniture Collections have been installed within the walls of the Upper Riverside, Greenwich Peninsula’s collection of five residential towers overlooking East London’s skyline, all wrapped by the River Thames. Collaborating with Greenwich Peninsula’s developers, Knight Dragon, we’ve added our part to ultimate riverside living.
Eelco Hooftman, from landscape architects Gross Max, agrees. “This is a new era in the development of London, where the river is being rediscovered and revitalised” he says of the waterfront square opening out next to Upper Riverside.
The High-Rise Buildings of Upper Riverside.
The five high-rise waterfront buildings with striking glass and stone exteriors have been designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill Architects. The geometric design of Upper Riverside invites in an eccentric form of light while the full-height glazing and the timber balconies present an expansive view over the River Thames and The O2 Arena along with Antony Gormley's iconic sculpture piece, Quantum Cloud.
In addition to innovative architecture, there is also a unique approach to the interiors of the towers. Upper Riverside offers landlords and investors homes with a choice of exclusive interiors, as BoxNine7 we are proud to be one of them. Upon approval of our projects at Upper Riverside, our team visited Greenwich Peninsula to discover what this emerging, eclectic community has to offer.

The Upper Riverside area, formerly referred to as Peninsula Central East, soon will be the home to a modern cultural landscape, with a vibrant community, which targets a wide demographics through all its amenities. The up-and-coming neighbourhood of the development delivers a various selection of cosy local coffee shops, sophisticated restaurants and authentic sky bars. Whether you favour a quick bite with a friend or elegant fine dining to celebrate a special occasion you have all the alternatives.
London's first riverside linear park 'The Tide' is now also open at Greenwich Peninsula, and we are a fan! The Tide is an exciting public space, sitting nine metres off the ground, where you can meditate, cycle, picnic and enjoy public artworks by Antony Gormley and Gary Hume. The Tide is welcoming and it encourages Londoners to kick-back and take a break. If you desire to escape from all the buzz - which we all feel like at some point during the week - you can go for a walk in Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park to appreciate the scenery and enjoy a bit of the wildlife. Greenwich Peninsula has it all at your doorstep!
Design District; a new creative destination for London in Greenwich Peninsula.
Collaborating with leading British manufacturers and suppliers, our designers are working collectively to put together exclusive and bespoke products to compliment the uniqueness of these limited-edition apartments of Upper Riverside. One of our designers Hannah, who has already completed her first install in the development discussed her experience during an interview and gave us an insight into the challenges and highlights of the project, which you can read here.
